Things are slowly getting back to normal after the holidays, don’t you think? Most people are back at work today so there’s a lot more going on. I started working again last week, we only had a week-long vacation, but since we’ll be traveling soon it felt unnecessary to have a longer vacation just before our trip. Anyway, now when everything is going back to normal, it’s time for the annual cold season to start. I got my share of it last week and after a few days of tea, ginger and chlorella shots, colorful smoothies and big salads, I’m finally feeling well again.
Fortunately, I had a very slow week at work so the cold wasn’t really that big a problem. I shot a few new recipes, like this chocolate mousse, and I wrote down some ideas for future blog posts. I’m already working on a few new posts, like a skin care guide for traveling, a recipe for raw matcha cupcakes, a post about what I eat in a day and I’m also putting together an FAQ-post. I’ve also started working on a few travel guides, one about Berlin and one about Copenhagen. So, there are a lot of new posts coming your way :)
Today I’m sharing a super simple recipe with you. I just love when the directions are like: put everything in a blender and mix, haha. I love when food is ridiculously tasty and super easy to make at the same time. Anyone else? :D I usually prefer veggie juices over smoothies, but last week I felt that I needed something fruity and tropical. So I basically took what we had in the fridge, put it in the blender and mixed it into a colorful smoothie. Mangoes, passion fruits and a banana went in there and then I topped it all with even more passion fruit, some cranberries and hemp seeds. It only took me like five minutes, and it was so yummy and of course full of nutrients, so I decided to share the recipe here on the blog :)
Mango and passion fruit smoothie
2 fresh mangoes
1 dl oat milk
2 passion fruits
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
More passion fruit
Add all the ingredients to a blender and mix until smooth.
Top with cranberries, hemp seeds, and passion fruit.
